drop_role

Drops an existing database role.

Available in the star$administration and requires the star$administration role.

Parameters:

Name	Optional	Type	Description
role$	Mandatory	Text	The name of the database role to be dropped.

Examples:

SELECT drop_role('myrole'); -- drops existing role called 'myrole'.

Tips:

• The star$roles view indicates which roles exist.
